In 2002 Lorraine joined the effort spearheaded by her uncle, the late Elder Booker T. Johnson, Sr to  reunite the family.     When Johnson's Dynasty, the family association was formed Lorraine was  appointed corresponding secretary. She faithfully served the family in this position for over ten years. Her continual efforts to reach out to family not only helped lead to continual reunions but also eventually helped to bring to the reunion table family members from  five  different branches of the family.
